EBSapps.env not present in base directory for r12.2.0



When upgrading current Oracle E-Business Suite 12.2.0 environment, we will need to source environment correctly. As, there is no file EBSapps.env in base directory, sourcing environment will be challenging. Oracle support has provided ‘fsauto.sh’ to leverage sourcing ebs r12.2 environment with run filesystem. Steps are as follows –
-          Follow Doc ID 1545584.1
-          Download file ‘fsauto’ and store in under /home/applmgr user
-          Set the XMLfile variable as per your environment (fs1 CONTEXT_FILE location)
-          Set proper executable permissions for fsauto
-          Source updated fsauto file. (You can rename it to fsaut<SID>.env
. /home/applprod/fsautoPROD.env


Note: 12.2.0 is not certified, so should be upgraded atleast to 12.2.2

Compile all JSP files in Oracle ebs r12.2

Before you start compiling jsps and following below steps, I recommend understanding some key differences between 11i, r12.1 and r12.2 when it comes to compiling jsps.
